At least 59 people have been killed and more than 515 injured after a gunman opened fire on a crowd at an open air concert in Las Vegas.
People attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival on the Las Vegas Strip fled in panic as shooting broke out from a skyline room at the nearby Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on Sunday at 10pm local time.
The attack is the deadliest US shooting in modern history.

Police launched a manhunt when shooting broke out near to the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on Sunday evening local time.
Hospital staff confirmed at least two people had died, with 26 injured – 12 of them critically.
People were attending the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival, where witnesses said Jason Aldean, a country singer, had been performing.
Video footage shared on social media appears to show people fleeing the scene.
One Las Vegas hospital said it was treating “several” victims with gunshot wounds.
At least one off-duty police officer was among the injured.
Witness Jon Bessette told NBC News he had been attending the concert.
“The band ran off stage and it was pandemonium. Everyone was running, people were getting trampled,” he said.
Another witness said they heard a “pop, pop, pop” sound, like fireworks, as they watched the show.
Concert-goers also reported seeing muzzle flashes from the upper floors of the Mandalay Bay hotel-casino across Las Vegas Boulevard from the music event and the sound of what they described as automatic gunfire.
Detectives urged people to avoid the area, at the south end of the famous strip on Las Vegas Boulevard.
